Product Comments: The Monitor-Basic lube oil engine analysis kit is for sampling and testing engine oil for contaminants, helping to monitor the internal engine condition. This is best achieved by collecting results over a period of time. With continued tests, you can get an early indication of a developing problem or get confirmation that your engine is working just fine. For best results start with a fresh oil change to get a baseline and then test at the next oil change to understand what level the contaminants are at.
